ABOUT ME

My name is Hope. I have been practicing makeup on myself since I was about 13, due to insecurities that came from acne.
My interest peaked when I discovered beauty Youtube and fully submersed myself into the makeup trend. While in college, I kept practicing and even made a Youtube channel and Instagram to show off my looks. 
Soon after, I took a chance to get in with Charlotte Seen and their fashion shows. After this experience, I decided to take the plunge and figure out how to do makeup full time. That's how esthetics school came into the picture. 
I wanted to be more verified, and what better license to do makeup with than esthetics. It makes sense to know all about the actual skin and how it may react when piling all of these products on top. 
I developed a love for skin care and fixing acne instead of covering it up. I also developed a concern to grow confidence in as many people as I can, because of my own struggles with the mirror. 
I am now a licensed esthetician running Hope & Beauty inside the Skin and Body Day Spa in Goldsboro. I offer a variety of services to help each of my clients reach their goals!
